World Autism Awareness Day is observed on April 2nd each year. The United Nations established it in 2007 to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and promote understanding and acceptance of people living with ASD.
The day is an opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness of individuals with autism while also addressing the need for more research, support, and inclusion in communities.
