Under the advisement of the **Fire Department and the gas company**, **Mormon Trail** will be **dismissing students at 10:00 a.m. today**.
This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of all students and staff. All students and personnel are safe, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we follow guidance from emergency officials.
Please make arrangements for student pick-up at the designated dismissal time. Additional information will be shared if further updates are needed. If you any ay issues finding arrangements to pick up your child(ren) please contact the main office at 641-877-2521.

We want to inform you that earlier today a **suspected gas leak** was reported at the school. As a precautionary measure, the **fire department was immediately notified and responded** to the situation.
All **students and school personnel were safely evacuated** from the affected area and are currently **safe and accounted for**. There have been **no reported injuries**, and student safety remains our top priority.
Emergency personnel are actively assessing the situation, and we are following all recommended safety procedures. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
