Welcome to our school counseling page!
Our K–12 school counselor is here to support students in all aspects of their growing lives—academic, career, social, and emotional—while working closely with families and staff. This page is a friendly, one-stop resource for course planning, scholarship application help, college and career supports, and Southwestern Community College (SWCC) dual credit option information. You’ll also find connections to local health services, including state-provided child health insurance options, free clinics, local food pantries, and our school-based telehealth service, Classroom Clinic, as part of our commitment to caring for the whole child.
I Have A Plan Iowa (IHAPI)
I Have a Plan Iowa (IHAPI) is our school's career information system that helps students in middle through high school explore college and career options. This platform is also used for high school course planning each fall and allows 4-year plans to be reviewed and sign virtually through the system.

Family & Community Resources
Although our small community is far from major cities, we remain deeply connected and committed to supporting our families. Through strong local partnerships, we are able to link children and caregivers to essential food assistance, social supports, and emergency resources. Together, these connections help ensure every family has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
