To ensure all students have access to rigorous, standards aligned instruction, the district uses the following HQIM programs for reading and mathematics.
Reading/Literacy:
K-5; HMH Into Reading- integrates phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing instruction More Info
6-8: HMH Intro to Literature-middle-level literature-based curriculum supporting close reading, critical thinking, and writing More Info
9-12: HMH Intro Literature- high school literature program promoting analytical reading, discussion, and writing skills. More Info
Mathematics:
K-5: HMH Math- builds foundational skills and problem-solving in elementary math
6-12: All Things Algebra-- Rigorous, standards aligned algebra curriculum supporting conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application skills.
