Tia Rodgers has approached her time at Mormon Trail High School with a willingness to grow, connect, and explore new opportunities.
The daughter of Amanda Rodgers, Tia is part of a family that includes her four siblings—Jozee, Tyler, Mariah, and Shalee.
During her high school years, Tia has been involved in Yearbook and FBLA.
When asked what advice she would give to incoming freshmen, Tia emphasizes the importance of stepping outside of your comfort zone. She encourages students to be bold and strike up conversations with people they may not know yet. She also stresses the value of kindness, noting that you never know what meaningful friendships might come from simply being nice to others. In addition, she recommends exploring clubs, not just sports, because they can open doors to unexpected opportunities and experiences.
After graduation, Tia plans to continue her education at Indian Hills Community College or Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), where she will pursue an AAS degree in business administration or as a business office specialist.
