Ms Hayes and her class got to enjoy Touch a Truck with Hy-Vee. Their class also did "Disguise a Turkey" for Thanksgiving.  Fourth grade made animal books that they read to the second grade class. 

Planning a K-6 school wide field trip to Civic Center to see Bill Blagg's The Science of Magic on Nov. 14th.

5th grade just finished learning about traits in plants and animals through the process of reproduction.  Now we are moving on to biomes, ecosystems, and communities. 

6th grade wrapped up their body systems and have moved on to genetics and learning about traits through reproduction.

Seventh grade has been learning about plants in science and have planted seeds in plastic cups to monitor how the roots grow.  In social studies they're learning about the Ancient Egyptians and working towards a mummy project.

The Freshman just completed their first season of concessions duty.  They learned a lot in a short amount of time!

The Sophomores will be getting ready to cover the basketball concession stand, so make sure that you go visit with them at the home games!

The Juniors are planning prom with their sponsors.  We can't wait to see how it turns out!
